After School Learning Academy (ASLA) Homework Help

Mission Science Workshop    
You make it! You take it!   Make things that sim, buzz and blink! Use hammers and saws to build projects out of wood with motors, buzzers and lights. Make your own pinball, operation and mini bowling games. Invent something new! Let's build it! Monday 3:30-5:30 PM
Wake Up to Words

Do you want to be a better reader?  Do you struggle with reading?  Come and read with a tutor on the computer. Start the day off with learning new words!  Reading has never been so fun! Monday to Thursday 8:00-9:00 AM

ASLA High School Academic Mentoring Program

Do you like tutoring middle school kids?  Do you need a job and want to earn some cash?  Are you looking for experience helping younger kids out? After school learning academy is looking for high school mentors and tutors. Call to schedule an interview!

Flag Football

Join the football team; get ready for a championship league. Meet some days during lunch for practice and on Fridays after school.   Exercise is good for you!! Monday to Thursday 11:46-1:19 PM and Friday 3:30-5:30 PM

Beacon Skate Club

Participants will visit local skate parks, learn about the culture and industry of skateboarding, and engage in various activities related to the sport, including graphic art and design, photography, and video production Monday and Wednesday 3:30-5:30 PM

E-Squad

A team of middle school youth who evaluate SJETC youth programs and holds them accountable to youth development outcomes. Youth are trained to run an evaluation from start to finish including conducting research, gathering data, data analysis and report writing Monday and Thursday 3:30-5:30 PM

Circus Arts

Youth learn circus arts skills to build up physical and mental balance to use in personal life and performance.  Skills include juggling, unicycle, stilt walking, and improvisation Tuesday and Thursday 3:30-5:30 PM

ONWARD

A program that provides workshops and individual advising to help guide students through life's academic transitions Mission High Tuesday and Thursday 3:15-4:00 PM and a drop in basis on Friday 5:00-6:00 Pm

Choppin' It Up

We are very excited to bring back an old favorite! Learn how to make delicious dishes from around the world! Monday and Wednesday 3:30-5:30 PM

Outdoor Challenge

A team of middle school youth will learn leadership and basic outdoor education skills. Youth will focus on building teamwork, confidence, and self-reliance while learning about environmental stewardship and understanding ones place in nature Thursday 3:30-5:30 Pm

KidPower

Meet with other youth and make an impact on your school and community.   Plus make new friends and go to fun fieldtrips Wednesdays 12:36-1:19 PM

Student Tech Corps

Get paid while learning about computers and technology in this online training class.   With these skills, you will work at a student-run help desk where you will be in charge of fixing computers and helping teachers with their tech support! Monday to Wednesday 3:30-5:30 PM

Kids on Bikes

Youth will learn bike riding and repair skills and go on rides around San
Francisco. You will also learn about traffic safety. Learn about the environment while biking. Bikes will be provided Friday 3:30-6:00 PM
Hip Hop Academy  
Learn about the culture of Hip Hop including breaking, and popping Wednesday 3:30-6:00 PM
Team Up Girl's Soccer
Girls Soccer is open to all youth who want to have fun and be a part of a team while improving soccer skills.  Youth will also participate
in games versus other schools Monday and Wednesday 3:30-5:30 PM
  Open Computer Lab  
Finish your lunch and head over to the computer lab for games, Internet and homework time Monday to Thursday 12:36-1:19 PM
Loco Bloco Drum and Dance Ensemble: Carnaval Youth Program!  
This program is open to all middle and high school youth. Come learn how to drum, dance, and walk on stilts! Perform with the award winning Loco Bloco contingent in the San Francisco Carnaval Parade in May! Wednesday 4:00-7:00 Pm Friday 3:30-6:00 Pm
